This movie is related to the topics we are seeing in class because the two journalists who exposed the scandal, Woodward and Bernstein didn´t just follow the traditional journalism path of anwerins wh questions. They really got into the story and developed a complex article involving all aspects of the Watergate. From the moment they found the first suspicious money transactions until the moment in which they discovered that very high ranking government officials were involved, they developed an innovative proposal in which deep investigation was involved. In this way, Woodward and Bernstein were two of the precursors of "investigative journalism", a new type of presenting news in which the journalist isn´t just a "reporter" of what is happening, but a kind of "journalistic Sherlock Holmes".
I think that this film is particularly interesting because it makes the viewer feel constant suspense and intrigue without involving the common elements in commercial movies such as bullets and AK-47s. So, it is a very innovative proposal and it is up to its plot.
